I first started getting interested in money when I entered full time work as a nurse. I was constantly looking for ways to earn more money like overtime, more study to increase my hourly rate and then trying to climb up ladders at work.

Whilst I was able to increase my income it quickly became apparent there was only so much my hourly rate could increase so I got a 2nd job to earn more money. Now that I had money I didn’t know where to go to get that money to grow. I knew about investing but had no idea how to get started. Fortunately I came across the FIRE movement on AussieFirebug blog and that’s when my investing journey really took off. Finding the blog changed my life.

I started Thelady.Fire instagram in 2021 to share my journey and show how others how to build and grow wealth in order to become financially independent and retire early.
